Austrian cooling company Noctua, known for their brown PC fans and CPU coolers, has teamed up with Korean ultra-light mouse manufacturer Pulsar to create the Feinmann F01 Noctua Edition, a gaming mouse with a built-in NF-A4x10 cooling fan designed to deliver "esports-level precision while helping keep users' hands cool".
It's not the first time that we've seen the fan mouse idea - the Marsback Zephyr debuted in 2020 and I've even tested a few over the years! - but Pulsar and Noctua are certainly the most well-respected companies to take on the concept. The beige and brown colourway is certainly going to appeal to Noctua fans (ha), while the carbon composite structure of the mouse looks like a sensible balance between airflow and preventing users from accidentally eviscerating the tips of their fingers.
The collaboration was initially showcased at Computex 2025, so it's taken quite some time for the final product to come together. Noctua's press release detailing the F01 Noctua Edition says that the firm ran "extensive validation tests" to ensure that the fan's operation wouldn't be affected by high-speed mouse movement, while the shape of the mouse was altered subtly to maximise air delivery.
Surprisingly, the final result is still well within the ultra-light category, with a kerb weight of 73 grams, and the fan's speed can be adjusted on the mouse itself, via downloadable software or via a web app. Other mouse specs include an 8000Hz polling rate, 42K DPI PixArt sensor and optical left/right microswitches - high-end stuff that matches most premium competition-focused mice available in 2026.
As you might expect for a special version of a high-end esports mouse, the Feinmann F01 Noctua Edition doesn't come cheap - its European RRP is €200, while US players are expected to pay $215.
