Topic: Have you seen... the Street Fighter movie?

Saw this last night and what a rush... I could easily go and see it again tonight!

Absolutely loved its style over substance approach; the story itself is uuhhhh... there... but channeling the 90s + video game + anime style and over-the-top acting and effects, fights etc; is doing the real heavy lifting in the entertainment value here. Also the relatively low-key cast mixed with solid character actors like David Dastmalchian and Eric Andre providing their own ham style, just solid work.

I will say I feel like this is going to be a love it or hate movie; you either appreciate the absurd nature or you will walk out thinking "what absolute rubbish..." keen to hear what others across the gaming spectrum thought about it!

Disclaimer: also a fan of the OG 1994 movie for the cheese and Raul Julia absolutely hamming it up!
