Topic: When will I likely need to upgrade?

I'm currently gaming on a Nitro 5 laptop with a Ryzen 5 5600H, RTX 3060, 32GB of RAM (3200MHz), and 6TB of total internal storage split across two NVMe drives and a SATA SSD (obviously I couldn't put the SATA drive in a new laptop, and budget laptops rarely come with two NVMe slots—ideally, I'd like one with three NVMe slots, but I don't really see them around). I've calculated that I've spent £1,250 on it since 2021, including the RAM and storage upgrades. I also bought a 512GB LCD Steam Deck from FB Marketplace earlier in the year for £300.
When would I likely need to upgrade what I have? RAM prices are crazy at the moment, and I don't see them going down anytime soon. I've seen some RTX 5060 laptops for less than £1,000 with 16GB of RAM, but would the total spend justify the improvement?
For reference, I've kind of lost faith in modern gaming, and I'm currently working through my back catalogue. I'm playing MGSV—about 30 hours in, as I never finished it when it came out—and decided to start from the beginning again.
