Just watching this, very cool panel from some of the team behind launching the NES in the US, 40 years ago.

Got it from a newsletter from the Video Game History Foundation, who you should definitely check out. Huge archive of articles and magazines etc.

This is indeed a fantastic watch, mostly because of the little stories offered by the NoA staffers about the AVS's development and eventual NES's launch. We may synthesize some of this into future DF Direct or DF Retro content!

This panel was hosted by Frank Cifaldi at the Video Game History Foundation, and they're a fantastic non-profit in the games preservation space. More info on them for the uninitiated: https://gamehistory.org/
