Today I just put out a new piece over on my blog, The Land of Obscusion, that goes over the life & games of Eidos' short-lived Fresh Games label that was around mainly in just 2002, plus one last game in 2004. I figured you guys here in the DF Retro forum might enjoy it, and if you have any memories about Fresh Games & its little catalog of releases (Mister Mosquito, Mad Maestro!, Legaia 2: Duel Saga, Swingerz Golf, & R-Type Final) then by all means share them here!
I remember when Fresh Games launched & I was super excited to see what kind of "odd" & "quirky" games Eidos would release under the label, so I understandably disappointed when it died it so fast. Personally, my favorite game from the label would easily be R-Type Final, though Mister Mosquito is really fun too. Today, the label is really more of a quaint concept than anything, since the indie scene has more or less taken the slot of what Fresh Games set out to do, I feel.
