£69.99. That's the UK price for the most hotly anticipated game of the year, a full £10 more than other triple-A titles and a fairly rough conversion from the $69.99 the game costs in the United States. Even if we add 20 percent on top for VAT, the conversion ought to come to £72 - but clearly Rockstar felt justified rounding up instead of down.
If you want the Ultimate Edition, which contains all content - both cosmetics and extra gameplay - then you're looking at £89.99, which is admittedly under the £91 you'd expect from following the same procedure of adding 20 percent for VAT and then converting from dollars to pounds sterling. There's also a Vintage Pack for all orders placed before the game goes on sale in November 19th.
So far, the game looks to have gone live on the the PlayStation Store and the Xbox Store, but not in third-party retailers like Amazon, Currys or Argos.
