I think a really key question here is to what extent Devs can continue to express artistic intent using this tech. As far as I can see we don't really know yet. Sure the examples in the video do not represent artistic intent but that's for obvious reasons - the devs didn't make the game using this tech. I would agree that I don't want my games turning into GENERIC AI slop but do we know yet how this tech can be used by devs? I think we just need to wait and see really.

I've tentatively kept my preorder but agree reviews seem less positive than I'd hoped. Do fear Sony are on the down turn in many respects!
