My dad got me AC4 for my birthday in 2015, and this was announced on the same day 11 years later!
One little and somewhat silly gripe is the lack of Ray-Traced Shadows. Everything else looks so good the shadows draw attention but overall it’s a massive upgrade. Let’s hope Ubisoft doesn’t screw this up.
I’ve been working on finishing NextGen Settings, my menu system for Unreal Engine 5, and I can’t test Frame Generation, so I have been researching deeply into all of the possible edge cases and discovered this article.
Somehow LucasArts was ahead of NVIDIA by over 10 years! Just crazy.
