DF, I'm not so sure this is rendering. Rather, this is a deepfake. If it's using generative AI, which almost certainly seems to be the case given its virtually identical resemblance, then not only is it painting over the original artistic intent, it's stealing from other artists to do so.
I would've expected a more critical appraisal from the DF crew for something this transparently controversial. Hopefully your follow-up discussions can shed more insight on this. This tech should be scrutinized, not accepted uncritically.
