Maybe in a more distant future : Integrating with a GrayJay-compatible source such as PeerTube, for those that are on the "freeing ourselves from big tech" journey
I could be wrong, but I think the intent of having YT links in articles is to increase traffic to the YT channel, where DF may gain some revenue from viewers.
The first option make sense, only patreons would be able to access the feed anyway and they've already paid for it. The second option would remove ad revenue, which is how DF make a portion of their money so it's unlikely...
