Topic: Show image thumbnails

I understand the forums are trying to keep the bandwidth down and usable but I would still like to see a thumbnail to linked images.

Imgur seems to be the most popular site for hot linking images. They do have an option to show a thumbnail instead of loading the full image and then resizing on the fly.

Example, here is the full link to a screenshot https://i.imgur.com/AaJtqS8.jpg

Here is the same screenshot but with the link for the thumbnail, https://i.imgur.com/AaJtqS8t.jpg

If you don't see the second image, it only works when you put it in html. Clicking on it from there will then go to imgur for the full image like usual.

As you can see Imgur just add a "t" before the extension. Maybe this can be a built in feature to load a small thumb of posted images?

They also have "m" and "l" for medium and large thumbnails.
