Topic: Suggestion: signatures

A common feature of old forums was the ability to add a signature to each of your posts, and specifically graphic signatures. I remember having a ton of fun playing around with photoshop making signatures back in the day. Maybe that’s a feature that could be added to the DF Forums?

Very cool - but is there a way to get the signature to show an image? As you can see I tried to use HTML to embed an image link but it's not working.

@Blahshead images can get very big and cumbersome, so they are blocked in the email sigs, text only for now!

Agree to not do this If you want to see these large pictures just disable you add blocker and give DF some add revenue. Not a joke, I gladly disabled my add blocker.

I certainly recommend not supporting animated images and/or videos in the signatures, the ancient GIF format especially trivially reaches tens of MBs for one image.

As for the images, they take a fixed amount of screen space. The signatures seem to mainly be used for promotion on forums and personally I prefer not seeing any,
