Most of us Digital Foundry Retro fans and supporters have some kind of physical game collections. You can show yours here in this thread and talk about it.
What are your goals in collecting? What are you most proud of? What are your most valuable games by sentimental value or monetary value?
I founded this thread in the DF Retro section as most physical games are considered retro these days anyway, but don't be shy to talk about your new games for the current consoles, we're not that picky here.
For myself, I've been collecting games since the early 1990's for the Commodore 64 and Amiga. I've since diversified my collection and these days I have about 2500 physical games. My main focus has been the Original Xbox, which I've been a fan of since it's launch. I now have a complete CiB PAL OG Xbox collection, plus many NTSC and NTSC/J games, currently a total of about 860 games. I also have 200+ Xbox 360/One/Series games.
My other interests are PC/Amiga/C64 big boxes which I have quite a few, and Sega Mega Drive which was my favourite console growing up. I have a complete CiB Sega 32X collection and a couple of hundred Sega Mega Drive/Genesis/Mega CD games on top of it.
These days I've slowed down with the collecting because I think I mostly have the games I wanted as a child or otherwise would be interested to play. I do pick up games every now and then. Also, space is a limiting factor, even though I have a dedicated game room it's not nearly enough to display all the games. Still some interesting Mega CD games to go, but they're quite expensive.
Here's a couple pictures of my collection displayed right now, I can post more later about individual games or sets:
