Topic: Anyone checking out Assetto Corsa Rally?

I've been dipping my toes into more realistic racing game and this game just launched today into early access and it looks incredible and like a strong foundation for a rally game. Sadly my pc probably can't run it so all I can do is hope and pray for a ps5 port in the future which I think has been soft confirmed?

It's probably the surprise of the year for simracers, given no one knew about its existence until it was revealed at the simracing expo in Germany last month. Since its release, everyone who's into hardcore simracing is absolutely raving about it. Till now, the ancient Richard Burns Rally was "the" rally sim still, with real rally aces swearing by it more so than the likes of Dirt Rally 1 and 2, and the EA WRC title. For them, AC Rally is being hailed as the first worthy successor to Richard Burns Rally. Of course, it has some ways to go, being in early access version 0.1.

Okay, I took the risk and bought the game despite assuming my pc was too weak for it, I figured Id just refund if it was unplayable. While I have to keep the graphics on low that game still looks stellar to me and plays great, this is my first proper rally game outside of Gran turismo's events and a holy crap what an experience. Really hope DF covers this game eventually. With only 4 rally events its pretty barebones but the stage is set for an incredible rally experience!
