Topic: Direct capture Switch 2 games on portable mode

So I was watching this video comparison yesterday:

And it seems this channel was able to get direct capture of portable mode gameplay in RE Requiem, based on the footage they compare. I know DF once mentioned being unable to do such captures, which is why their videos will feature comparison of direct capture of docked mode against screenshots of portable mode. Does anyone know how this channel manages to do this? Will DF ever include direct capture of handheld node in their Switch 2 coverage?

One while need to be able to mod the hardware so that the video feed to the screen could the fed to another device with a capture card using a compatible/interpretable signal. The other alternative would be getting it to send the signal simultaneously to the screen and the USB-C port to get fed to the dock, but it is unclear if that is possible on a hardware level even if one could modify the OS/firmware to tell it to do that so I suspect the former is the most likely method, it seems to use common standards but it might require someone with good electrical engineering skills to make it work. I suspect if it is genuinely possible the Rich is already looking for ways to source a modified Switch 2 for testing purposes.
