As Alex just experienced, 20 hour trips give us all one extra thing to think about. Power! Those plugs under/around our seats mostly cut out at 140 watts. Unless you're a flight attendant with access to the galley plug rated at 1000 watts, most laptops will be running on battery. What's your favorite no compromise devices to get by on 140 watts or less?

Hi there - if money is no object, GPD Win 5 can still be powered by a USB-C charger. You don't need the AC adaptor. Just use a USB-C charger and power-limit the GPD Win 5 and you should be good to go. I would recommend keeping the battery handy though to cover inconsistencies in power supply.

@Rich_Leadbetter thanks! I thought you might say that is there some sort of switch on the power adapter that limits the draw on the brick itself? If the brick pulls 200, the plug might auto shut off. Does limiting the draw on the GPD Win 5 turn down the electricity draw at the brick too? Not necessarily an FPS/ray tracing question, I'll admit!
