And i would really like them to show exactly how powerful a tool this is, which means bringing in artists and art directors as well.

The things i would be interested in learning more about:

1) A game engine running a comparison with and without the DLSS 5 output, both when used without any ray tracing and with full path tracing. IE, non ray tracing vs DLSS 5 output, ray tracing vs DLSS 5 output and path tracing vs DLSS 5.
I'm betting on that you'd see a big difference in the end result when DLSS 5 gets the best predetermined input to work with, but thats just my assumption.

2) The different ways an artist can implement and tweak DLSS 5 in any given game, with demonstrations of how the art directors can achieve what they intended as their final output with having DLSS 5 available to get there. Both in regards of the color and tone mapping in a game in respect of the mood and atmosphere they wish to portray.

3) What their render budget target is, once done being optimized, for the technology to be acceptable for public release.

4) And they should invite a few tech people from outside of Nvidia to discuss and comment on above aspects. I'd say i would prefer a few from DF: John, Alex, Oliver and Richard.

As to number 4, i hope you guys are not wary of what response you'll get out of it. Those people true to backing you guys and your awesome work, will always be here to support you. And those who dont, they are not worth listening to or paying attention to. Enough said.

Ray Tracing or Path Tracing is irrelevant for DLSS 5, all it analyzes are fully rendered frames and motion vectors, there's nothing to dive deep into, it's just filtering over the finalized frame. It doesn't even get any depth buffer information.

@Hustler_One Yea yea, and a lot of people say the world is flat and that man didnt land on the moon. I'd much rather have the opportunity to see it from the source and not from someone who comes out like a nay-sayer just for the principle of being a nay-sayer. Nothing you say or write here will change my mind about that, so just might just stop trying. Or, you could keep trying to lecture me and i'll just end up ignoring you.
