If John/DF doesn't no one will. I know John is a fan of the Shutokou Battle battle games and has been willing to give niche titles like this some attention.
I pre-ordered a physical copy and have been flipping back and forth between this and RE9 (great week for gaming). I have been dying for a new arcade racer (in particular a legacy racer) and this one really delivers if you're a fan of the series. It doesn't reinvent the wheel but I didn't want it to TBH. It won't dethrone Forza or GT's visuals but it's a handsome game.
I think John did a DF Retro EX episode on it a while back, but I think it was still during the early access period. I don't think the game changed dramatically visually since then but it could highlight the console performance.
Runs like a dream on PC though so I don't imagine there's much difference tbh.
