ghost of yotei was the last game I finished that was not a replay, but I must say, I am a bit sad that the VRR update came late

That looks fun, I love Desert Strike. Shame it's in early access though. Any idea when it'll be fully finished?

I normally avoid Early Access too, not even Baldar's Gate 3 for me. But I saw the lone dev posts on X while he's been building this and thought he could do with some support.

It's the menus and UI that is slightly janky, but the game is (mostly) solid physics fun blast.

Thoroughly entertaining gaming experience, I'm up for more remakes of 1990s classics … where game play came first.

I recently finished Elden Ring Nightreign, and that was a pretty fun time. It's great when you're able to get matched with people who have some idea as to how to navigate the map in order to optimize building up strength, it kind of feels like playing Turbo Dark Souls since you're going from boss to boss in quick succession. I also got the platinum, too, it took some tries due to some RNG, but I wanted to get this done before the DLC arrives. I'm thinking of going through all the character stories as well, although it's not the most compelling content in the game to be honest. I guess my biggest gripe with the game is that some of the obstacles and bosses kinda feel like they require the kind of trial and error you can get out of a usual Souls game in order to be mastered, but the nature of the game means most attempts at retrying these elements will take way too long, since you always have to start each run from scratch.

I finished Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter this morning. It's a remake of my fav JRPG. It's a great game. I think all game devs who are working on a remake project should play the FC original and this remake as a case study. This is exactly what a redo should do.
