by Sony has announced its next State of Play showcase on the 2nd of June - just under two weeks away. The Tuesday show kicks off at 2PM Pacific, 5PM Eastern and 10PM in the UK.
The PlayStation blog promises "more than 60 minutes of updates, announcements and gameplay reveals from top studios around the world", with a specific focus on Marvel's Wolverine title under development at Insomniac Games, previously known for their stellar work on the Spider-Man games. That game is due out on 15th September.
Sony has even taken the unusual step of organising free fan events at Alamo Drafthouse Cinema in Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, New York, Raleigh and San Francisco. That, combined with the length of the show, suggests a pretty packed show.
What are you expecting to see at the reveal? And what are you secretly hoping for? I'm sure I'm not the only one that would kill for another Grand Theft Auto 6 trailer to dig my teeth into, or some titbits about the PlayStation 6, but there are more likely options. For example, there are plenty of rumours surrounding a new God of War project and it feels like the right moment for more information on Naughty Dog's Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet game too.
