Microsoft and Ubisoft have teamed up for a new "console-to-PC" promotion that sees digital owners of Ubisoft games on Xbox granted the ability to play the same titles on PC. The list of titles is extensive too, including Assassin's Creeds Mirages and Valhalla, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, Far Cry 6, The Crew 2, Rainbow Six Siege and Watch Dogs Legion.
To see the games, all you need to do is link your Ubisoft and Xbox accounts, then sign into the same Ubisoft account on PC via Ubisoft Connect. You should see all of your available games there by the 4th of August at the latest as the programme takes effect, while new Xbox purchases ought to appear immediately.
DLC is also included, though purchased consumables such as in-game currency are limited to a single platform. Also, only "selected games that support cross progression" will see your save games transfer between platforms.
Here's the full list of games from the promotion:
- Assassin's Creed Mirage
- Assassin's Creed Valhalla
- Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora
- Far Cry 6
- Immortals Fenyx Rising
- Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown
- Riders Republic
- Skull and Bones
- The Crew 2
- The Crew Motorfest
- Rainbow Six Extraction
- Rainbow Six Siege
- Watch Dogs Legion
Weirdly, the most recent AC releases, Shadows and Black Flag Resynced, don't get the same treatment - hopefully they will be added over time. It's also worth noting that this programme only works one way, with Ubisoft Connect purchases not unlocking corresponding digital games in the Xbox store.

Pretty cool. I don't have a console to care about it, but I'm sure there are people who would enjoy having both versions with one purchase.
Having bought Avatar on XBox I'm very pleased about it! AC Odyssey and Origins as well, would be a great addition if they were made available on PC .
