@themightyant the game{s interface overall has some very questionable decisions, even from its World days. In Wilds, there's Link Parties, then there's Environment Link invitations. Then adding a player to your party can be a hassle because the option is buried inside several menus.
For all the streamlining they did with Wilds, the one thing they decided not to modernize is their multiplayer experience and UI (even Rise had some improvements in Multiplayer).
