Great point about the Series S upgrade path from an Xbox One. Didn’t even think of it that way!
I do think it would be relatively easy for Xbox to implement a disc to digital conversion for the supported BC OG Xbox and 360 discs. This isn’t even the majority of each console’s library and it would be a huge win for consumer rights if not preservation. As a brand, they need to take every win they can get right now.

Seems fair, considering the egregious prices of everything else. Granted, I think the original was overpriced. So this is similarly overpiced.
I'm also not keen to wait until 2030 for prices to return to some form of stability.
