Would you guys please consider making a library of Digital Foundry PC game mods for patreon that just modifies the text and tooltips in the "graphics menu" of various PC games? My idea is that your mod library changes the text/descriptions to more accurately and uniformly describe what each setting actually does and how much changing it will affect relative performance. You could also use the mod to replace the developer's interpretation of low/medium/high with something that is more uniformly comparable. You could create/add a "console /optimized settings" option, or place warning messages on settings when it's broken (like a frame rate cap with bad pacing for example).

Basically it would take the guess work out of trying to interpret performance profiling tools and help PC users like me who aren't using a top-end card.

Do you know how viable modifying the interface text in a modern PC game is? I assume loose text files (e.g. XML, which can be edited in a text editor) are uncommon. I don't know if DF has any general modding experience.
