MSI has launched its UK store, offering a range of computer components and peripherals direct from the manufacturer - and a £20 off coupon for any purchases above £150.
As part of the launch week celebrations, MSI is discounting a single item to £1 and hiding a code somewhere on the site, letting someone walk away with a high-value item essentially for free. There's a new £1 item every work day from now until the 18th of August, so you have a few chances to figure out the secret.
Thus far, Tuesday's prize was a MAG B850 Tomahawk Max WiFi motherboard and a MAG CoreLiquid I360 CPU Cooler, while Wednesday saw a Modern MD272UPSW monitor go at £1. That means four more items are up for grabs. Thursday's hasn't yet been revealed at the time of writing.
Once the product of the day is announced, you need to find a discount code elsewhere on the site - the MSI guidance suggests you should "browse the categories and product pages to find it." Once you've got it, you can add the product to your cart, use the code to drop it to £1, then lock in the order.
It's an interesting game, and one that I'm sure that the extremely technical DF audience might be particularly good at - codebreaking is a universal pursuit, right?
