What I don't think I have seen mentioned is the timing of this by Sony. I always expected the PS6 (And Project Helix) to be digital only devices and had made my peace with that. But to not even finish the current generation with discs is completely breaking any faith I had left in Sony. Not even knowing if games I was getting excited about will come out on disc for PS5 is very frustrating. I now don't see what Sony think there USP is over PC? A more expensive walled garden? No thank you.
