I think these are great builds overall. My only complaint is with the Dual-Boot option. Having a single drive for the two OSs is highly discouraged, Windows is known to break the Linux install regularly with updates.
The Github repository shows Claude as a contributor, so it hardly seems like they are trying to hide it. And looking through the code it's somewhat obvious that it was used widely. So I think it's a bit misleading to say that the authors are being underhanded with it. At the end of the day there are no rules about agentic coding and the software is being provided for free. But I would agree that it would be better if it was stated in the README of the project.
