Re: 30fps Frame Generation On Switch 2: Does Interpolating to 60fps Make Sense?

Sabroso

I played the demo in the sunday and I was like well, is not a high latency thing now which is an improve over what is mentioned is the Black Myth Wukong implementation, after the feedback from people the good news apparently is that Shift up left it as an option which was the feedback as well from this Q&A session and is seen as the approach from Capcom with Dragon's Dogma 2 which makes a lot of sense, and also the approach of From Software of getting the game into the 120Hz output and deliver a cap until 40FPS is an option that I at least would be sure to be happy with it, even if I somewhat was disturbed by frame pacing in Bloodborne back in the day and learned that was the issue instead of gameplay getting into 25fps or something, I wasn't aware of the frame pacing if it happened during the Duskbloods closed test which is a good thing from my perspective, and also could be another option and maybe a low budget one instead of frame gen which just because of frame gen the cost of it in rendering budget is what is factoring in for the less than 60fps drops in the testing or at least is my theory.
