Hi. There's no veritcal scrolling on Brave for Android. Working fine on desktop

had the same on Arc. I think this is some bug on the website that happens on any browsers, and after it happens it blocks scrolling completely. Clearing cookies fixes that. Here is my original message about it:

I love it so far, but there seems to be serious bug on Arc browser specifically - I just can't scroll - at all. There is no scrollbar and using mouse scroll or page down doesn't move. The same happens both on main page and article page. Forum on the other hands opens at the very bottom of the page, and still can't scroll đŸ«

Scrolling on DF site works fine on Chrome or Safari. And Arc works normally on different websites. So it seems it's only this mixture of DF website on Arc on MacOs that have this issue. This is really weird, because Arc is based on Chromium and it never seen it had any issue on any other page. I don't have any extensions configured other than password manager, so that' unlikely to be the reason.

Please take a look, since Arc is my primary browser and I don't want to switch to other just to browse DF 🙏

I use Arc Version 1.119.0 (70075) on Chromium Engine Version 142.0.7444.60 on MacOS Tahoe

@MetsukiR Thanks. I switched it to desktop mode and then back, seems ok now, no idea why

@Soyokaze @NotARobot @HarrySimpson all of these issues related to "no scrolling" or "article video not loading" seem to be related to the consent platform (the cookie accept/reject).

If you don't remember seeing the cookie accept/reject option then it's likely related, try clearing cookies (might be getting confused with the OLD df website).

If you are still having issues after that, please email me a screenshot and let me know the browser/OS to [email protected] and we'll investigate further.

Doing some tests with clean installs of Firefox, Arc, Brave and all appears to be working. Thanks for helping!

@antdickens it works now, though just resetting cookies wasn't sufficient. I tried to reset them, redo the patreon integration and to allow third party cookies but the cookie banner wasn't appearing. it did appear when after having done all that I disabled tracking prevention in Edge for this website. and yes also no adblocker running nor any other extensions on this site. So it seems that this might be a google-related problem that could have something to do with tracking prevention/third party cookie policies. but yes now it works.

@antdickens @Soyokaze I Appreciate the response from both of you : ) I turned off enhanced tracking prevention for this site and that fixed it. I case anyone reads this with the same issue, it's real easy. On Firefox there's a shield icon to the left of the address bar. Click on it and it will give you the option to turn off enhanced tracking for the specific site you're on.

Just to report back on my experience too - after testing in Chrome with incognito and DuckDuckGo, it does appear that switching to desktop and seeing a cookies accept pop up, accept then switch back to mobile, is allowing scrolling now.

@antdickens unfortunately it looks like it was a bit of a coincidence that it worked for me. It's back on the fritz again. Tried deleting cookies, restarting...I'm not sure what to make of it. Sometimes videos load, but usually they don't.

@Soyokaze Gotta say, I suspect this also, that this is a Google thing more specifically the Youtube side of stuff.

@antdickens I checked Safari browser and everything seems fine. I don't wanna bug you about this stuff, probably something silly with Firefox or a setting I've overlooked or something. No big deal.

Ok, lol, this is the last time I'll post about this I promise. I found a solution and in the rare instance anyone might see this and have the same problem you might want to try this, even if it's just a work around. I simply couldn't find a setting that resolved it completely.

Mac OS, Firefox browser, grey void where video should be with no option to play video. To the right of the address bar is a toggle called reader view. When you're on the page with the video you want to watch toggle the reader view on. Your page will change to a text only version of the page. Toggle it back. The video should now be playable. I've tested this extensively.

Is there any way to search for Digital Foundry content only?
The search feature above searches all partner sites, which is not what I want.

i was searching for Jusant and the first Digital Foundry article is in the middle of the second page.
Maybe put all results from Digital Foundry first or include an option to exclude partner sites?

Hello there, pretty decent forum.

Any plan to have it scale to wider resolution? It looks a bit narrow on a 16/9 screen.

Not a bug but how to insert my own pictures in a message in those forums?

It does seem that http does not automatically redirect to https. I was on IOS and had trouble logging in. The i noticed that Safari mentioned not being secure. No idea how i ended up on the http site but a auto redirect would be helpful

I'm sure when I signed up (via Patreon?) I asked for no e-mails.

I received an e-mail this morning when someone mentioned me in the forum. The unsubscribe button on the e-mail doesn't work, just redirects to profile. I cannot find e-mail settings anywhere - just the ones for notifications. I'd like notifications on the site but spamming my e-mail inbox is an absolute no-no.

Hi DF heroes,

Congrats on the new and excellent website! I noticed when reading the article about AC: Shadows on Switch 2, that the pricing mentioned in the Game Profile in the column to the right, features the US pricing and the UK pricing. However, The UK pricing, in British Pounds, has the European flag, not the Union Jack, in front of it and is also presented as being the European pricing. That's incorrect of course. Here in the European Union, of which the UK is not a part anymore, we pay in Euro's. The price for the game is €59.99 over here.

That's all, folks! Keep up the good work!

Cheers!

Wanted to say, "Awesome job on the new site."
I don't know if it's worth looking into, but the article timestamps don't appear to render in the user's timezone. For example, it's Tuesday, 11/11/2025, 10:00pm EST (-5) for me right now. The latest article says it was posted "Yesterday Tuesday, 11th Nov 2025". So, it's "Wednesday" for Europe, but still Tuesday for the US. I'm not suggesting the timestamps be US focused, and I know dealing with timezones is hard. Just search for Tom Scott's video on the Computerphile channel.

Something on the forum triggered "find in page" in my (chrome mobile) browser repeatedly.
