With the November 2025 launch of Digital Foundry's new website and forums, we figure this is a good opportunity for readers and viewers old and new to introduce themselves, say hi, and talk about how they stumbled onto Digital Foundry and its community. Maybe you've lurked for years in YouTube comments. Maybe you've only commented once on a Eurogamer article. Or maybe you have set a channel record for most :chad: emoji in the official Digital Foundry Discord (which, yes, you can join by becoming part of the Digital Foundry Supporter Program over on Patreon).
Whatever your earliest DF and best memories are, let everyone know, and thanks for being part of the DF community.
Very happy to be here. A long time in the making. I helped bring Rich into the Eurogamer/Gamer Network fold originally around half a lifetime ago, and much more recently made amends after being invited to invest in the Digital Foundry business in order to secure its independence & most importantly, ensure we could have forums again.
Oh sup nerds! My name is Will, I did some DF stuff for a while and now I'm doing some IGN stuff.
It's awesome to see this go live, and I hugely welcome the return of web-searchable forums over random Discord chats. Plus, I can think about making a cool signature graphic for the first time in 20 years!
Hey all!
Mister Turtle from the discord, been following Digital Foundry since 2021 or so and joined the Patreon in 2023.
I found the DF Retro series which threw me down the rabbit hole and haven't left since.
Hello. Just a dad who likes to play games (with my kid) and yell at crappy politicians on social. I've been following DF since the early days on Eurogamer and YouTube. Don't think I have commented on their videos ever (I shudder to be part of YouTubes comments section) but I do take part in conversing about their videos on Era.
I can't remember when I started sessioning DF bespoke content but it's been a while. I was a huge fan of Mean Machines and CVG magazines in those there 90s.
I am a fully paid up retro patreon nunk and also frequent the Discord.
I love Tetris and making electronic music.
I dig all the new tech and finding out about it but my heart lies with games that lean less on such things. This year I've played lots of Blue Prince, Ball X Pit, Katamari, Mario Kart World, Street Fighter 6, Earthion, Mr Run and Jump, Tetris 99...
