I’d like to suggest that DF consider doing podcast-style interviews with game developers, from indie creators to AAA studios. Think along the lines of Thomas Brush and Jonas Tyroller: while they’ve already interviewed many industry legends, the focus tends to lean heavily on the business side of game development, which is cool to hear, yes
but it would also be great to give more attention to the creative and technical aspects of their work
It would be amazing to also explore the actual game development process, the technologies and tools used, and developers’ technical opinions about their own work.
Often, the creative and technical side doesn’t get enough spotlight, and I think this type of content could bring a lot of value and inspiring both aspiring devs and curious enthusiasts.
It would be really interesting to have deeper conversations about how games are made and what technical decisions shape the final product.
And of everyone on YouTube, only DF has the ability to do it.
Havn't we seen a lot of these already on DF's main youtube channel. I would for sure like to see more. But its not that this isnt already been done @DF. NoClip is of course also a good source for these types of interviews.
