Seems like a decent machine in itself, but at $1049, I cannot see this console doing well.
It's a shame, because I don't think this console was ever meant to get this premium of a price, but because of "current global effects" and AI data centers gulping up all the RAM and storage, this skyrocketed way past any reasonable price point. Doesn't bode well for the Steam Frame, sadly.
Hopefully Valve is able to decrease the price significantly once the "current global effects" and RAM and SSD prices go down, if they go down anytime soon, but only time will tell.
Slightly disappointed that the Switch 2's boost mode doesn't turn it into a hoverboard and lets me ride it over to the local 7-Eleven, but boosting Switch 1 games' performance is cool too.
I don't understand why everyone in the comment section is so mad. I've always wanted my games to look uglier for the sake of realism, so I think that this tech is a big step forward!
