@themightyant they reacted right (or soon) after a hands-on event where they spent a few hours hands-on with the technology, sitting behind the controls, and talking with amongst others the people that created it. That gives a whole different vibe and atmosphere than me sitting here behind my desk seeing a 1 minute media trailer from nvidia on youtube. I can understand their initial reaction, and i also understand that in hindsight it would have been better to have some more time to reflect on the experience before reacting.
The review itself is a bit rose-tinted towards analogue too. Promised features taking years to materialise or just never delivered (dac support anyone?), leaving customers in the dark with zero communication. Like their previous products, they will abandon the a3d when they get to the next big thing, you just need to hope they actually fixed most bugs when that happens.
I switched to Bazzite recently. Not even because of the gaming situation which was perfectly fine for me (ryzen igpu, mainly GoG games and no new AAA stuff) but the forced windows 11 microsoft account ***** really started to annoy me. Also the UI seems to become more convulted and complex every year

Re: Steam Machine and Steam Frame: What You Need to Know
Seeing a steamdeck in the picture gave me hope of a refresh of the steamdeck APU but too bad that doesn't seem like it's happening now.
Re: In Theory: Could Sony's next-gen handheld run PS4, PS5 and even PS6 games?
I'd be impressed if Sony doesn't screw this up with draconian DRM or some exotic proprietary media or memory format.
Re: Tested: the PC GPUs that match or exceed PS5 Pro graphics performance
Entrylevel GPU runs circles around premium console
