Re: Sony Kills Physical PS5 Games, Starting in January 2028: A Gigantic Hint That PS6 Will Be "Adorably All-Digital"

Snorlaxcat

let me tell you something about this digital media revolution
I've had enough of warriors talking about physical media
Who haven't been bought physical media for the last 2 or 3 years
Come up to me, and talk about the resistance of physical media
The revolution of storing your discs
And the glory of the physical ownership
And the glory of no one being able to take your license away
Save our licenses!
They don't talk about the glory of buying a console for the revolution of physical media
What's the glory in not telling your peers that if you don't own your stuff they will take it away
And recording artists not being able to make a living because they have to tour and records are not sold
Where's the glory in that?
Where's the glory in a movie bombing and getting removed from a streaming platform only for the artists to loose any evidence that their piece of film ever existed.
Of old age pensioners with their inability to use streaming and getting left out because the "market"
Where's the glory in that?
To leave them out of the system, the crippled for life, not able to consume any media, art or get their transactions done because accessibility gadgets are too expensive or hard to use
Under the rubble of the digital revolution
That the majority of the people that love the wonders of the digital world are not ok with those being left out
Don't want this no more.

Re: Physical Editions of GTA 6 Will Come with "A Download Code Inside the Box", Pre-Loads Begin on November 12th

I would rather they do the nintendo and do physical more expensive, than code in box, it is stupid, or do an ultimate version with a further price increase so that you don't lose shelf costumers and have an ultimate physical edition at 120 instead. This is very silly, they are leaving money on the table. Retailers selling the ultimate physical edition and rockstar will skip on this amazing 120 bucks opportunity

Re: Nintendo Could Make a Switch 2 Home Console – But Should They?

these feels like I am the best of the worst or the worst of the best scenario. I can understand why Sony wants a handheld but does that mean they should? I wonder who made that call, because at some point it does not make sense to stop a project from hitting store shelves, but psvr2 is more enticing than psp 3, I think switch 2 has things covered, unless crossbuy is coming or maybe they are using the handheld as an excuse to kick people out of the physical medium.
