Re: Xbox At GDC 2026: Windows And Console Converge For The Next Generation

@Rich_Leadbetter Hi Rich love the POD and the site. Can i ask might the new Xbox Helix be the best Steam Machine if indeed it is going to be an open platform. Could that be a great play by Microsoft to offer a Xbox, PC and a Steam Machine. I hope Epic don't try and make a gaming box with that store UI, ouch!!!

thanks for all you do guys, and especially Rich for keeping the dream alive.

they'll make people really want it. It's what Apple does year in year out with the Iphones. Need one NO, want one Yes!!!

I'll have one as i always seem to do. But will be looking at Microsoft Helix also. May need a new PC by then so may use it as an upgrade if indeed it can support all the PC store fronts.

Just listened to the Q & A about just this subject (great show as always). Yes the graphics looks crisp and future facing as many a Nvidia demo has done over the years. But why the hate at a team. they are telling us about what they are seeing (with there trained eye) and for one I respect that. Gaming is an ever evolving medium which crosses boarders. I've many people on my friends lists that I've never even met, But we are friends and have a lot in common. The people that have given death threats to the team should be ashamed of themselves.

Re: Xbox 360 20th Anniversary: Unboxing An Untouched Launch Console!

I loved my Xbox 360. and the amount of features they added over time was great also. Ripping CD music to the console and playing that music instead of the games soundtrack. The Blades absolutely rocked just like Arcade live and yes the updated metro interface wasn't all that bad either. From a better more refined Xbox live to full game installs i loved this generation. The 360 was backed up by a better online service never having to go off line on Tuesdays was it? for the PS3. Yes Sony had to play catchup (they smashed it with the PS4 though).

Don Mattrick proper did a job on all the great work done here.

Oh and thanks for the video Rich and John. Memories made have come flooding back with this video. having a new console now doesn't have the same wonder like the GOOD OLD DAYS. All the games are the same and the consoles them selves aren't that far apart.
