Some solid visual bangers this year. Doom truly looks most impressively on technical level. I would definitely add E33 on the list of the best, though. May not have the bells and whistles, but artistically it's one of the most beautiful games I've played.

I totally glossed over this one back in the days. I think the first Unreal game I played was Unreal Tournament (1999).
